Clients may be eligible for a Medicare rebate (of $145.25) through a Mental Health Care Plan provided by their GP or Psychiatrist.

 

Johanna offers a Clinical Psychology service to treat a range of conditions such as depression, anxiety (e.g. generalised anxiety, specific phobias, obsessive compulsive disorder and post-traumatic stress), Bipolar Affective Disorder and Schizophrenia. Treatment strategies include CBT, EMDR, Narrative Therapy, Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapy and hypnotherapy. Her background in neuroscience research continues to inform her current clinical practice. Clients can ask to learn strategies that foster neuroplasticity as a way to manage distressing symptoms of chronic pain or lingering hurts from past traumas.
